Good morning bank holiday Friday! As you will probably be aware, Chelsea flower show has been taking place this week and we have been a little busy behind the scenes… we were very honoured to have created a 3D floral VIP invitation for Harrods, a pop up card for Fortnum and Mason hampers, as well as some incredible 3 dimensional ‘gold turrets’ to help Philippa Craddock bring her Atlantis Hotel alive in all it’s floral beauty at the show, Philippa gained a silver medal for her creation as well which is wonderful.
There were many stand out gardens from the show this year, the designs are always inspiring and thought provoking but one of our firm favourites had to be ‘Dark Matter’ by Howard Miller Design, the structures were incredible, teamed with great concept, you can see a video tour for yourself here.
Floral installations are becoming a regular fixture in the events world, now filtering into weddings which is wonderful. We have created our usual inspired edit on Pinterest where you will find a plethora of ideas to spark your imagination for any event, from structured pieces to hanging floral art installations tailored for any event, ideas are limitless when you work with the right florist.
Also this week, Chelsea was well and truly in bloom with the return of the world class alternative floral art show Chelsea in Bloom, displaying a fairytale theme, retailers including Kate Spade, Browns, Fendi and many more have created world class floral displays outside their doors, by some of our favourite florists in the industry, the whole of Chelsea has been beautiful all week. There are still tours available if you haven’t been able to visit as yet.
Thank you Chelsea for adding a little colour and great design in our lives this week!
